RSS feeds are something I actually am familiar with and have already set up on my computer. I did enjoy finding some new feeds that I added to my account: Librarian.net, Library stuff, The Shifted Librarian. The Resource shelf also looks intriguing.
So far, I haven’t found a way to use the RSS feed in my library program with the students. I do use it to keep myself professionally informed.

I had a lot of fun playing with the mash-ups. The one I liked best was the Flickr Color Pickr. I can’t imagine a library application for it, but I enjoyed just clicking through the colors. On the other hand, I can see many excellent uses for the FD Toys apps. I made a trading card, a movie poster and a blog header. The trading cards could be a final product for a research project and the movie poster would make a neat book review to post in the library. It was very easy to use and manipulate. A+

I would like to work on habit number 5 — create your own learning toolbox. I am disorganized, and a toolbox might help me organize the many hats I wear.
